but it requires downgrading xorg to 1.16.2.

selection of photos all sized 4000 x 3000 px (filesize 5M - typical example
attached). I used GIMP to scale the size.

Hi, I had the same problem in Ubuntu 8.04 & the GUI for GFTP 2.0.18
Says "Loading directory listing xx" but doesn't do anything.
I managed to solve it by changing the folder permissions for the target
