They don`t and that`s the problem. The bluetooth connection for new
windows has probably not changed from the earlier models. In my case I
was using a `phone not built when my car was constructed.

The problem is not so much the `phone but the car. I went to BMW
yesterday because mine did connect OK initially but now won`t do it.
They were able to get "Connected" on the screen but there was no signal.
They then went into the database of the car and found BQ were not on the
list. I have an Ap
I have no problem connecting the phone but cannot store the address
data. System shows transferring data but at the ended no entries in
address book. Any ideas?

Title:
Ubuntu Phone (BQ E4.5) does not connect to car-bluetoot
Would be interesting to know how bluetooth differs between car
manufacturers. My BmW has no problem linking to the `phone once first
establisehd but it cannot download address data. Have contacted tech
dept at bq who claim to be working on the connection problem but have
yet to see any progress.

Kevin, I found the time allowed to enter the code on the `phone was very
short. It really is worth re-trying as quickly as possible. Once
established you will probably find it does`t always connect
automatically but will connect when car and `phone "connect" buttons are
selected..

I have managed to pair the `phone to my car after many attempts and have
a good connection. However, car will not download the contacts nor will
it automatically connect. If I have a problem with making a connection
rebooting the `phone always corrects this.

Talked to BQ tech support yesterday. They are aware of poor or no
bluetooth pairing on certain car types and claim a fix will be published
"soon"?!

When sending photos by email with F-Spot, it creates the email but
when activated, the mail sits in EVOLUTION outbox. It can then be sent
from the Evolution page, just doesn`t send automatically. I have
confirmed this with another 11.04 user.
