[Bug 235495] Re: unmounted volumes still show in nautilus tree

2009-06-25 Thread Paul Bell
Hi Rolf, I have the same version of Nautilus as you, as I stated in my previous post ;) I have all repos activated, including proposed and backports. I have the eject button in "places" view but I'm using "tree". The effect is as of the first post of this thread - mount point remains with a duplic

I'm also using Jaunty, Nautilus 2.26.2. It still affects me (constantly). Am I missing something? -- unmounted volumes still show in nautilus tree https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235495 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. --

[Bug 48772] Re: Firefox randomly crashes

2006-11-05 Thread Paul Bell
Hi... I'm getting random crashes regularly with FF2 (64bit) and Swiftfox (32bit) on Edgy 6.10 (x86_64 generic). It never happened on Dapper. There is absolutely no pattern whatsoever, it can happen when I'm reading a page with no mouse or keyboard activity. The only output in the terminal is a seg

[Bug 68400] Re: "Could not install the upgrades" - installArchives() failed

2006-10-27 Thread Paul Bell
Sorry Mario but after rebooting yesterday everything was upgraded. Mythtv was broken afterwards in regard to being unable to connect to mysql-server but this may have been due to my inadvertently selecting the new version of '/etc/mysql/my.cnf'. I'm not sure, I'm pretty new to Ubuntu (and Linux).

Mario, http://www.ubuntu.moshen.de/dists/dapper/mythtv/ MythTV was working before I upgraded to Edgy (with 0.19-5 and 0.20). Cheers ... Paul -- "Could not install the upgrades" - installArchives() failed https://launchpad.net/bugs/68400 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.co

Hi Michael, thanks for that. Presumably Mythtv was the only failure. It was a real hassle to get working on Dapper so I'm uninstalling anyway. Cheers ... Paul -- "Could not install the upgrades" - installArchives() failed https://launchpad.net/bugs/68400 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bug
