Yes : I tried today on mu both system (Edgy amd64 and i386) : in the
better case, tilda is running but does not print anything from
keyboard.

Situation : Intrepid system update from an Hardy previous version. AMD64
architecture.
I use compiz. When the first user is logged (compiz), the second one
uses the GNOME switcher applet. It is OK for logging.
If the second user is connected for a short time - a few minutes
machine of course.
Hope it can help to fix it... I decided to rid off this machine... I
can't have an uptime over three ou four days...
