I'm not going to be able to use the Xorg-edgers repo, since this is a
work laptop, and I cannot risk any form of instability :- / afaict, the
X-swat team doesn't have the relevant package for precise just yet... so
I guess I'm go

I also tried the 12.04 live CD and experienced the same behaviour as
11.10 & 11.04 - no click and drag capability, and no right click
(although multitouch two finger right click does work)

I've not bothered with trying to get vinagre to work, and have installed
Remmina instead ..
hopefully it will be resolved though - it would be nice to have the option of
reverting back if need be
