Sitsofe,
In my personal experience just clicking on "Enable" in Restricted
Drivers Manager installs nvidia-glx from the repos and the user is
unable to stop this installation. So if you have the NVidia binary
driver installed Xorg fails on restart giving an API mismatch. This
would suggest that
ser the option of cancelling.
Currently if you click "Enable" in RDM it automatically installs the
drivers and the user cannot stop it, even if that is not really what
they wanted to do. Result is broken Xorg with an API mismatch on boot.
I hope I have been comprehensive in my explan
I am changing the description of this bug as I have now discovered that
it is nothing to do with MS Office files, it is a dictionary issue. Any
file which contains British English (as opposed to English (US) etc)
that is opened in any OOo application immediately causes OOo to
segfault.

Open Office 2.2.0-lubuntu3 Crashes when open
ite a new spec).
This means once the drivers support the new spec, users will not need to
enable Xinerama in their xorg.conf as it will be handled by XRandR and
thus XRandR won't be disabled by the traditional Xinerama running.
Hope that makes sense?

This is also reproducible in Gutsy and is caused by mythtv using xrandr

pretty sure that will fix the problem.
