It does not last more than 10 minutes using insigne's kernel at
ubuntu, using pure ubuntu it even does not connect at all.
I dont have access to the system and to the machine anymore :(

Forgot to say, using the Insigne distribution, the modem works fine with
gnome-ppp. Maybe someone can contact them to have the solution, its free
software, isn't?

I can confirm that using a kernel from a Brazilian Linux distribution
called Insigne, the modem works, but the connection cannot last more
than 10 minutos using gnome-ppp.

Im using X -query from console, using this way, it works fine.

Same problem here with an intel video card.
The same problem when I run from gnome-terminal:
sudo X -query myxdmcpserver :1
To reproduce it I can login at gdm xdmcp screen, run openoffice,
gcalctool, and when I run another app, it crashes with the message from
the other post above.
