What I expect to happen: When playing a vide
I have Ubuntu 18.04 and VLC 3.0.3 and I am affected by this bug.
I also think that no matter what GUI API is called, the system should allow
quitting the app at worst. But not even Ctrl+Alt+Fx functions work to switch to
terminal.

If I change use-ipv6 to off in /etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf and restart
avahi-daemon with /etc/init.d/avahi-daemon restart it works ok. I'm not
