I am unsure now. I received updates to a bunch of Mutter-related
packages along with Mutter itself either last night or the night before,
upgrading it from 6.0 to 6.2. I had tried the 'beta' packages earlier on
which did the same but did not fix the issue, so I reverted them back to
their originals
This has been fixed upstream, right? Will we be getting that version of
Mutter pushed through apt or should I install it manually?

I still have the bug as well. It just randomly decided to start doing it
again an hour or so ago. The problem with logging out after installing
the packages is that you can't really test if that fixed it since
logging out and back in is what you do to temporarily work around the

Doing step 2 and pressing send just closes the window and doesn't
actually give me any output. I've done it twice now. The crash does not
show up on the list of things after following step 3.
