I am sorry if this bug is in "fixed" but I am using openSUSE 13.2, KDE
4.14.9 and I have the same issue: Print key assigned to kshorcuts,
recognized key but doesn't launch Ksnapshot. If I assign for instance
Meta+P ksnapshot is launched.
Print Screen was working until around 1 year but now is not

OK I've fixed it:
# sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-core
# sudo apt-get install libcheese*
and finally do sudo apt-get install fglrx.
Hope it can be usefull to someone, but still I think this bug have to be
fixed.

yeah, still persists. doing a fake install in the live usb it works
after install the last xorg dependence and it can be installed after
install lib32gcc1 and libc6-i386 but in real Ubuntu it doesn't work

Hi. I just installed Ubuntu 14.04.2 in a new notebook. Ubuntu begun to
freeze constantly and randomly so I knew it were because graphic driver
issues.
trying to get private driver from additional drivers and selecting any
private driver I noticed my selection was reverted to default open
source dr
