Logging out and back in again seems to "fix" the main menu updating.

I am unable to edit the application menu in Xubuntu 15.10. Menulibre
says I do not have permission when I hover over the Delete button.
Menulibre will not run as root (by design) so I am not sure exactly how
I am supposed to edit the menu :)
