I have already reported it here as well:

steps described in the bug report you can easily reproduce it. I have checked

It is NOT fixed in Intrepid version (2.24.0-0ubuntu1).
The temporary image file is not scheduled for removal. If iso is
temporary and exists (i.e. operation was not cancelled) then it should
be added to the temp file list (see attachment) so that it gets cleaned
up properly on finalizing the copy
Reproducable here as well on an up-to-date Hardy, I could only restart
my machine by pressing CTRL+ALT+SysRq + REISUB. If I had had some
unsaved documents I would have lost it.

I also have been using the release candidates for a while and they all
work fine. I gave up searching for the patch to make 0.9.59 to work. I
do not know if it would be possible to backport the 1.0 as soon as it is
released (or include it in 8.04.1).

The update is working fine for me. Language pack came along with Firefox so it

KDE allows the mount options to be set only on a per-volume basis, not

I also experience problems with the shortname=lower behaviour, e.g. md5

The problem is that Hardy uses QtCurve as the default KDE theme. However
Hardy does not use QtCurve's Gtk2 engine, preferring to style Gtk2 apps
via the Qt engine. QtCurve doesn't look that great when done this way -
certainly nowhere near as good as its native Gtk2 port.
