I just tested Ubuntu Tribe 5 on my laptop with a X700 ati card. After splash its just a black screen, and I can't get console (ctrl- alt-f1 does not seem to do anything). I'm going to see if I can get a console and install the ati package you linked, Bryce. -- [x700] fails to infer lvds for pri
