for this to work.
I think that I need cron for this. Until then, only manual option.

Ok, solved. Thunar REQUIRES hald to be running, for thunar-volman to
work. Needs "sudo /usr/sbin/hald &" to be executed. Now pen-drives, SD
cards and others automount and show fine in thunar.
Now, how to automate this? Easiest would be to grant rights for user to
sudo hald without password prompt
Ok, upgraded my Ubuntu desktop 9.10 to 10.04 on my Toshiba NB100. Same
problem, no pen-drives, usb disks or SD cards (internal reader, usb bus)
show in thunar anymore. Packages pmount and usbmount not installed, hal
is installed. Usbmount allows using everything in /media/usbX
