Public bug reported:
When I try to use w3c validator page (http://validator.w3.org/), I get
following error from that page:
A fatal error occurred when attempting to decode response body from . Either we do not support the content encoding specified ("bzip2"), or an

I solved my problem by upgrading the hardware.

Just booted with 28-13 from proposed, same symptoms. So all 28-x kernels
fail, while 27-x work. From the boor messages the only that sticks out
is the 7.5xxx time message about IO-APIC resource allocation failing.

28-13 was not in Proposed yet so I tried 28-12 and it crashed & burned
same way. One new thing I noticed that around 7.x (i.e. before crashing)
kernel complained about not being able to assign IO-APIC resources. This
message does not show up when booting succesfully with 27-11.

Did a reboot, and it still does not work with 2.6.20-13-generic. Had
to do "sudo depmod -a" to get a workaround working, even. Same logs.

I'm also having this same issue with current Feisty, i.e. none of my USB
memory sticks are recognized after boot, but do work after doing "sudo
modprobe -r ehci_hcd" (have not looked at the speed, though).
Doing "sudo lsusb" (without the modprobe workaround) causes following log:
