Sorry it took a little while but I now tried the kernel:
linux-image-3.16.0-031600rc4-generic_3.16.0-031600rc4.201407061635_amd64.deb
and there is no change in the fan behavior. Still afer suspending and resuming
again the fans work as they should.

I made a usb statup disk with the iso image and I didt have any of the
problems mentioned from the installation of 64 bit 13.04. However Just a
note if I didnt already mention, I also never got any of those problems
with the image using the startup USB of 64 bit 13.04. It actually worked
very well

I made the change with a space on either side. It doesnt respond to suspend
now. It works in windows though, if thats any indication of software or
hardware problems.
