I upgraded from jaunty->karmic, and lost all sound output. I had
previously added "options snd-hda-intel model=imac24" to /etc/modprobe.d
/alsa-base.conf, but this was removed during upgrade. By re-adding this
option and rebooting I was able t
I think this is the same bug I experienced. Not sure if this is
relevant, but this is the first time I was able to get sound after
upgrading to Karmic. I upgraded, had no sound, added "options snd-hda-
intel model=imac24" to my /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf, and rebooted.
I launched rb, and then
also, since it's a laptop, I can't just unplug it.
