Happens when using the intel video driver on Intrepid Alpha 6 and problem disappears when compiz is disabled. Even setting opacity to 100% for System Monitor in the "opacify, brightness, and saturation" options in Compiz Settings Manager doesn't stop it being slightly transparent. -- gnome-syste
