I have had the same problem on Ubuntu 7.04.
It didn't set winter time automatically and after I set it manually it
keep resetting it back to summer time. After I run ntpdate command
specified above the problem seems to resolve itself.
I haven't rebooted my laptop for a few days but at night it is

Fix is very simple - just replace bin/sh with bin/bash.

The following blog post (in Russian):
http://libc6.blogspot.com/2007/01/id3v1-id3v2-mp3-russian-cyrillic-
tags.html
discusses various workarounds to fix encoding; unfortunately all those
rely on re-encoding ID3 tags stored in a file. Obviously this won't work
for a mp3 streaming/radio.
(PS: why
I didn't bother with Marc's patch when I found a one-liner and I'm OK

Here is a working url:

Public bug reported:
While listening to Ukrainian/Russian internet radio the ID3 tags aren't
displayed properly. I suspect the problem is that tags encoded in
different encoding that rhythmbox expects. E.g. cp1251 instead of utf8.
