What does not work? If the touchpad does not work with 6.10 and the
goodix driver then I would change distribution for the moment being
until they fix it since it may take a while :)

What do you mean by newest? Ubuntu 24.04 is currently on 6.8 which won't
work. You can try installing an upstream kernel from here:
https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/?C=N;O=D
I would try with 6.10.5 or earlier 6.10 kernel.

These work on Fedora and in Arch/Manjaro with some tweaks, some will
also work in Ubuntu.
