I'm running Ubuntu Intrepid with all updates (with hamster-applet
2.24.1-0ubuntu1).
When the 'Stop tracking when computer becomes idle' option is enabled
(which is the default), hamster-applet apparently thinks, my computer is
always idle.
I don't know why I never thought of this before, but I just changed my password
to something else and back, and no it works.
It works on my laptop with same username/password and with a newly created user
on my computer, so I guess something was wrong with my stored password.

I have a Terratec Cinergy 600 tv card with a Philips FM1216 tuner (and a
Philips SAA7115 video decoder).
Somehow the card causes keypressed to be sent to the system. It happens
irregularly, the problem can go away for weeks and then suddenly occur several
times per hour.
