I have another occurence of this problem. It seems to me as gnome focus
problem.
I opened a text file from nautilus in gedit and when I was trying to
select a text it dragged a file (that in nautilus window below gedit
window) mouse stopped clicking completely (it moved however). I killed
gedit fi
okay I started having the same problems as mentioned here... I noticed
that most often it happens when I drag the window icon in workspace
switcher, or in windows list... switching between workspaces couple of
times seems to recover the mouse...

my main issue with nm - the fact that it wasnt working correctly with
static settings - was fixed with a update.
I cannot test the roaming mode, as I dont have any networks to connect
to..
