Deactivating numlock before activting neo2 also fixed this issue for me.
So it is an interference between those two.

I have to point out that the error message you have differs from the one I got
and for me installing python-xdg fixed to problem.
So I suppose you miss another dependeny package we did.
python-xdg is still a necessary dependency, it just may not be
sufficient in your case.

I can reproduce this bug on Xenial Final Beta when installing to a 500Gb empty
intel ssd.
I get stuck in the dialogue which should not appear at all.

The NVIDIA-current direver does not work properly for the nvidia gt2x0 series,
this is a bug which is known and present since the first release of this
graphic card series.
Its a propietary driver from nvidia and they decided not to get their job done
properly. Its closed source and the guys fro
NVIDIA GT240 has speacial thermal settings whih really differ from other cards.
On Windows this card ist running on 100°C at normal usage and up to 130°C while
benchmarking. This is no problem, the windows driver has a much higher setting
for overheating.
Is it possible that the noceau driver do
In my case, the fan of the video card is simply not running, so it turns off
after some time to prevent dying because of overheating.
This could also be your problem.
