Seems that downloading this image and using it on a third HP server
worked, so this is not an issue with the Ubuntu image..

FWIW I also created a ticket with HP about this, but it feels more like
an Ubuntu issue since 24.04.3 works fine.

Downloaded the ISO for Ubuntu 22.04.4, and verified sha256. Via ILO, our
HP DL345 G11 servers would not boot from that as virtual media. Tried
with 22.04.3 and it worked fine. Tried repeatedly on two separate
systems.
