To clarify how to reproduce it; essentially just install wine on Ubuntu
24.04 on arm64, and try to do anything - e.g. just "wine wineboot" is
enough to show the hang.
A full reproducible example in the form of a dockerfile is this:

I just pulled my hair over this issue, trying to use a pool volume on
Debian 12.
I gather from the gitlab issue that there's still no solution on the

The reverts here will be included in the -generic kernels, they have
been applied to the Noble and Oracular trees as of today.
They are not included in 6.8.0-52.53-generic, as this version is from
the s2024.12.02 security cycle. They are slated to be included in the
2025.01.13 cycle
