As of today, I have the exact same exception trace when starting F-Spot.
I have no idea what might have caused this.

Before devicekit-disks (so up to and including Jaunty) it was possible
to change the mount location by right-clicking on the drive icon. I
think this was functionality of gnome-mount which is now gone.
This functionality is related to this bug. Is it still possible to

Here's an attempt at a clean up strategy. Note that I don't have any

Today I tried the latest packages using the Hardy alpha-5 live CD, but
they didn't work.
The USB laser printer HL-1430 works fine using the foomatic driver
(recommended 1250), but nothing is printed using the HL-1430 for CUPS
driver from the new packages (no error is shown).

The Edgy install of my parents was reported to crash xorg 80% of the
times when starting OpenOffice.org. The backtrace from the xorg log they
sent me looks familiar:

This is not fixed in current Edgy. There is no temperature information
in /proc and the MacBook slowly gets hotter even when almost idle.
With coretemp.c [1] I can see the temperature of the two cores going up
to about 78 and 79 degrees Celcius and at that point the fan kicks in.

We might still be looking at different bugs here. For me (on a system
with Radeon 7200), the lockups were happening quite often (most sessions
within a few minutes), but disabling DRI did fix the problem entirely.
