Happens to me on 2 different Lucid machines, one with AMD HD4670, proprietary
driver via jockey, one with Intel GMA4500.

Confirmed, GTC was an option in NM 0.6, but is now missing. wicd still
works with GTC, so the underlying machinery isn't broken, just the NM
interface.
