Yes, still it is. However, it seems to be only a visual bug in Natty.
The progress bar behaves much the same, but the actual brightness now
follows commands.

I disagree this bug is low importance.
Ubuntu 10.10 has Evolution version 2.30.3.
This error is present also when connecting to POP account.
Our company ISP provider allows only one connection to account at time. Other
connections get "IN-USE" error message.

versa) there are 3,5 steps. The last half step is problematic. You have to use
Fn+F7+F7+F7+F6+F7 to get to 100% or Fn+F6+F6+F6+F7+F6 to get to 0%
Forgot to mention the bug is observed in Ubuntu 10.10

Using Fn+F6/Fn+F7 to set brightness has a bug. From 0% to 100% (or vice versa)

Also, I must add, "reduce backlight" functionality leaves much to be desired.
Not sure if it's a bug or a design flaw.
It's OK to have an option that reduces backlight automagically when on battery
power, however, if then I change the brightness manually back to 100% (because,
