I tested the alx driver solution from Tomasz's reply in
http://askubuntu.com/questions/287779/wired-network-is-not-stable-in-
ubuntu-13-04-64-bit and found out that is the 802.11 wireless driver
"ath9k" caused this problem.

I have just installed a 64bit version of Ubuntu, and the bug did show up again.
I also tried some kernel older versions from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ , seems that the bug does not
exist in the kernel which older than 3.6. But thses kernel has some

I have tried the version 3.9 from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.9-saucy/ and that annoying
problem shows up again.
Seems that the lastest mainline kernel did not fix this bug.
