I've finally upgraded to Ubuntu Mate 20.04.3 LTS and the problem remains
the same. I can post another screenshot, if needed, but it will look
eerily similar to the one from two years ago.
There are several other rendering issues with TraditionalOK on 20.04. Is

This issue still occurs in Lucid Alpha 2, with all updates applied. As

I certainly prefer the larger icons, but I question whether or not the
big icon should be on the button. An icon on a button should usually
indicate what the button will do, not what the current state is.
I would suggest having the icon grouped with the string "Your Private

Although I've identified several specific examples, the underlying
request is really just one thing: support for encryptfs mounted Private

There didn't seem to be much point in submitting each issue

I agree about the use of "mounting" and "unmounting" being too technical
for this application. With a layperson it might also lead to confusion

I have an Intrepid installation on a virtual machine at work, but I'm

Based on Dustin's comments it appears that checking the automount option
should simply create ~/.ecryptfs/auto-mount whilst unchecking it should

An update to my comment above: with the Hardy Beta Live CD the Screen

Running the Live CD in VMware Player 2.02 exhibits this problem.
With Hardy Alpha 5 it was still possible to change to a higher

In case it helps anyone to reproduce this issue, I've run into this
problem using Gutsy in a virtual machine running on VMWare Server. The
"Screens and Graphics" app lists the driver as "vmware - VMWare virtual
video cards". The machine was formerly running Feisty and has been
upgraded to Gutsy.

Just to clarify, I'm _not_ referring to an SMB share that has been
mounted to a local mount point (e.g. via an entry in fstab, or via the
"mount" command) - I'm only referring to remote directories accessed via
a path in Nautilus that starts with smb:// (or ssh://, or ftp://). The

With Gutsy, Fileroller can now open archives on non-local directories
