The GNOME session freezes (stops responding) during theme change.
Maybe the bug description is confusing but IMHO it is a capplet bug.

The problem is caused by config file .gtkrc-2.0 created by gtk-theme-switch2
Steps to reproduce
Unfortunately nvidia driver upgrade didn't solve the problem for me.
However the situation has changed a bit - with the new driver *sometimes* I can
start a new session in the first try - but usually it fails
Unfortunately It seems to be random...
nvidia driver upgraded to 180.16
