Daniel, thank you a lot for the tip. Indeed, when I entered alsamixer,
it showed two playback devices, S/PDIF and S/PDIF 16.
The first on was showing a square wih '00' inside and the second was

replaced it and the issue is gone. Now I have a dlink and everything

Hey, adding the script I just attached to
/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/ seems to fix the issue, this way
network-manager reloads squid when he connects to a new network. The fix
is adapted from the one found here:
