The solution for this problem is easy to install as mentionned on linux-
rixensart site. It is written in french but easy to understand. You have
to install the theme Ambiance-Crunchy :

Be careful : with the new update of udisks version 1.0.1-1ubuntu it is
impossible to read an internal or usb floppy. The solution is to
downgrade udisks to 1.0.1-build1 as I explain here in detail :

I have exactly the same problem with Radeon 9200 SE RV280.
The problem is for Compiz only with 1280x1024 resolution. No problem for
1152x864

The update to 2.6.24-19-generic kernel changes something but the printer
doesn't work correctly./ Same problem as adonet.
Maybe this problem is linked with the bug "unable to resolve host (pc's name)"
when you use static addresses.
The first page is correctly printed only if you print one line b
I have exactly the same problem with my Sitecom Print server, Hardy and a
Deskjet-920C printer.
Everythink work fine with two PC's running Gutsy and LPD/LPR unix and one PC
running Windows XP.
