Attempted to mark all packages under category "games" by clicking games,
then clicking the first item, then scrolling to the bottom, then holding
shift and clicking the last item, then right clicking on a selected
SOLUTION (not a bugfix):
download pgcedit and extract. give it execute and stick it in /usr/bin.
if your dvd isn't on the harddrive (i've only done it with the raw
files, not the ISO), copy it there.
open pgcedit and open your dvd directory with pgcedit (it's the ..
(parent) directory of VIDEO_
