After filing the bug report, I tried to remove the input_leds module
(the only one that had a resemblance to the reported "input" in
/sys/powear/pm_trace_dev_match), still it doesn't resume.

I just upgraded from 18.04 lts to 20.04 lts then to 21.10.
On 18.04 resume after suspend worked, with 21.10 it doesn't (after pressing the

before suspend it was in X, wayland or a console). I didn't

Since this bug appeared when I upgraded from zesty to artful, I reverted to
4.10.0-37 (the last kernel I had in zesty) and it had been rock-solid (it
becomes unresponsive from time to time but it recovers in a few seconds).
With each kernel upgrade I try the new one but the problem is still there
The workaround fixes it for me too. Other wifi adapters I have (one using
rt73usb, the other rtl8812au) don't need it, so maybe the bug lies in athk9_htc.
How did you find the workaround? (just curious, apart from this bug my google
searches only gave me outdated or irrelevant information).

If I add a caldav calendar to korganizer, it stops showing reminders for all

FWIW the kwallemanager binary extracted from this package

Not a solution but at least now I can manage the passwords stored in the old
