As everybody have a P100 on this topic I want to ask a question, Is it
possible to know if owners of a p100 with a nvidia graphic card are
affected by ramdom X freeze and stucks ...

I' ve installed the ubuntu kernel fix proposed by loliverouge, it works
well but my micro input and the line-in seems to not work ...
Is there a tuto to make it works with the latest alsa version ?

With the last feisty kernel and a custom dsdt I have sound under Gutsy
... (I' v modified the sources.list to install it).
I hope that this issue will corrected soon ;)

In my case, I' ve compiled the latest stable version of alsa and I have
clear and loud sound but only with
I' ve reinstalled Ubuntu with the new version : 6.10 edgy eft
Now, I can say that my keyboard works like a charm :)

Thanks you buddhasmiles , now, those modules doesn't load at boot, I don' t
have keyboard problems , I don' t have battery status but I can work without
it for the moment I' m waiting for a real fix now. ;-)

If it can help, "sudo rmmod acpi_sbs" stop the bug , but I must load this
command in console after each boot because backlisting acpi_sbs doesn' t
stop the loading of the acpi_sbs

I have the same laptop than mr mh (acer travelmate 2303lm) and I can confirm
that the bug stiil exist after the update to the kernel 2.6.15-25
nb: rmmod acpi_sbs fix the problem
so where can be the problem ???
