I am running fglrx driver version number 2:14.501.0ubuntu1
Although I have X11-xserver-utils installed, when I type xrandr into the
terminal, I receive the following error: "Rand

This package will not install -- same error as noted above.

and the last one
ocl-icd-libopencl1 (>= 1.0) or libopencl1
I suggest deleting the first one. Also, if you add the following to the last
item, it will remove conflicts with ati / radeon cards using the binary driver
