4 years later now, and this bug is still present, at least in 11.10.
Fortunately the fix (executing images.sql from source) also still works.

Just updated 11.10 on my 32-bit Netbook, and it, too, is forgetting
'network secrets' on each WiFi network!
Seems like the amd64 problem has propagated to the 32 bit world
Also, there is no 'Available to all users' option AT ALL at this point.

Same here on a Compal IFL 90 laptop, but with the onboard keyboard,
which is hard to plug / unplug. The keyboard does work during POST, and
in a dual-boot windows. Now using an external keyboard :(

it's a firefox default setting, but the combination with some ubuntu
themes (especially dark ones) leads to text being unreadable (e.g. dark-
blue text on a dark-brown blackground). Perhaps it's an idea to bundle a
userChrome.css file with some of the darker default themes?

Binary package hint: evolution
When opening an email with an attachment (either in preview or in a new
window), Evolution crashes with a segfault. Emails without attachments
open normally. By the way: I'm using IMAP without local synchronisation.

I had exactly the same problem after upgrading to network-manager
0.6.4-6ubuntu5 as part of a larger upgrade this morning -- nm-applet reported
that no network interfaces were available, and no wireless connection was made.
(Using Proxim PCMCIA G card, Atheros HAL.)
