I already was on 7.10 and just upgraded the kernel with the updates last
night. Immediately couldn't get wireless, so I'm also back on the

The bcm43xx kernel driver has "unstable" support for the 4318 chipset
right now. Have you tried installing a newer version of ndiswrapper,
making sure to unload the bcm43xx kernel module first?
