I suddenly started to experience this bug when I updated my NVIDIA
drivers from NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-331.79 to >= 340. The only workaround
I've found is:
CCSM -> Utility -> Workarounds -> Force complete redraw on initial damage ->
check (not sure if this helps)
CCSM -> Utility -> Workarounds -> Fo

Sorry I haven't had time for this as this occurs on my work computer. I
quickly tested the problem again and it seems that it is fixed by some
kernel update. For 3.0.0-13-generic the hibernate seems to work now.

Computer wakes up after hibernate normal
Oh, I forgot to mention that hibernate worked ok before Oneiric (in
Natty), even though it printed the same "ata7.01 failed to resume link
(SControl0)" stuff when hibernating.
