Hello
I have just upgraded to ubuntu 17:10 and the command line for light up my
illuminated keyboard is lost again and now i cant insert the commandline anymore
i just to to this in gedit /etc/rc.local ... xset led named "Scroll Lock"
this line is not working in terminal anym
I have no longer this problem with unity
Becuse i have installed the final relese of 13.10 now

unity desktop chashes after updating and

After partial upgrader the unity desktop is not responding again and trying to
update via terminal the system says that the unity-desktop cant be installed
nad i am askt to report this bug via terminal

After updating to the latest kernerl 3.8.0.13 on 13.04 somehow the rc.local
file is not activeted any more and the fix of "setpci -s 00:02.0 F4.B=00 only
works after the computer is ready after boot and i have to use a externa screen
to acces terminal window to setpci again

So i set my LCD brightness to 3 % and then itś working

the only thing about it are that the light switch is going in the wrong
direction
Can you patch a new kernel when LCD brightness goes in the right way???
so when i set my LCD brightness to 0 % it works
