I get the same error. I notice that Flash tends to "loose focus" ( and stop accepting keyboard events) when one double clicks inside the running flash application/game. A third click will return focus and allow the keyboard to send events to the flash app again. Specs: Ubuntu 8.10 Compiz up full F
