when I connect to a machine without ssh connection works fine but
specify the ssh host and it fails with the message
"error creating ssh tunnel error reading from unix:input/output error. "
ssh capability was tested by using terminal to ssh dir
Upgrading from 9.4 to 9.1 has messed up my dual boot. Just discovered
cannot boot my XP install on this machine the suggestion to edit
/etc/default/grub does not work for me no such file exists to edit.
Also when creating an upgrade that changes something as fundamental as
how the machine boots to

I have attempted several times to reproduce the conditions snd can not
get it ti crash again.
I have flash 7 There was another issue where I changed the default
depth to 24 to fix firefox crash on pages with flash items. this was
done prior to this crash.
I am using sun java jdk 1.5 I very rar

i started loading a page from a bookmark on the tool bar while it was
loading I right clicked the icon and selected properties. the window
disappeared and a dump was created. a portion of the dump follows. I
will attempt to upload the entire file after submitting the bug.

changing color depth to 24 fixed it for me also

observed result the browser window disappears with no warning message o
this appears to be the same problem for me also
the terminal output from one of the many attempts is the same except for the
random temp folder name (tmpRBaLO) see below
I verified the folder (tmpRBaLO) does in fact exist but it is empty.
also there is no /var/log/dist-upgrade folder to retrieve
