It does also revert the theme of some system apps.
1. Open gedit
2. Go to preferences
3. Select the desired theme under Fonts & Colors (non-Yaru)
4. Go into Appearance settings in the settings app.
5. Reopen gedit and the theme will be Yaru.
I think the main issue is that the theme reverts to Yar
If I select a custom accent color (let's say red) and then change the
icon theme through gnome-tweaks, then when enetering the Appearance
settings the theme will change to the appropriate Yaru variant (Yaru-red
in this example)

After every reboot bluetooth doesn't work. The GNOME bluetooth on/off switch
can be changed but doesn't have any effect - no devices are shown.

You're correct, PC is connected to a LCD TV through HDMI cable.
What is bizarre is that it used to work just fine since Feb of March
when I installed it and it started to crash rather frequently last week.

I've been fighting with this problem for a week now, and about two
minutes ago I've managed to successfully log into my Ubuntu 12.04!
First I thought I'd show you all how my boot process looked like and

I upgraded to Linux 3.9.0-030900rc3-generic because the screen
corruption sometimes didn't want to disappear even after switching to
the console and back.
With this new kernel it seems it is working OK - no more screen
corruptions after a few hours.

I left X session, after some inactivity screenlock was displayed, it
hapened when I was disconnected from my laptop using KVM switch. When I
connected back to the laptop screen was corrupted as shown on the
attached screenshot.
It never happened in Ubuntu 12.10.

if you use package from official repository please install version from
our ppa https://launchpad.net/~kupfer-team/+archive/ppa
To apply a patch you should:
1. save patch is i.e. /tmp/
2. from terminal enter to directory, where Kupfer is installed (usually
/usr/share/kupfer)
3. run: patch -p1 < /
