Just installed Ubuntu 20.10 on my older laptop (which was running Windows 10
Pro).
Installed by USB drive, 3rd installation and still get the same issue.

Having the exact same issue with nvidia-390 package at my Ubuntu 16.04,
rolled back to nvidia-387 and had the same issue. And later I rolled
back nvidia-384, and still the same issue.
Then I downloaded NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-384.111.run from Nvidia's website
to see if I am able to get it up and runni

This happened to me not on my main drive but on a USB thumb drive I use
for backup, formatted with FAT32. The backup program kept telling me the
drive was full, so I suspected if the files were not actually deleted,
so I searched for a bit and found 5GB of files in
"/media/DriveLabel/.Trash-1000/ex
