I did some testing today. Sorry for the delay. I noticed that rt2800usb actually occasionally works on Natty with rt2870sta blacklisted. I did need to remove an reinsert the usb DWL-G122 rev.E USB stick a few times to get the net actually up, and the connection seems less stable than with rt2870st
