Here is a workaround until the bug isn't fixed.
Remove telepathy-butterfly from synaptic and you should just have
telepathy-haze installed. Remove and create your msn account and try
connecting again.

Hi Pedro,
No, top doesn't show the same info, using top command I can see the
processes using a normal amount of CPU. So, I think the bug is only
related to the gnome graph not accurately reporting the CPU usage.

I think the issue is only related to the graph not accurately reporting
the CPU usage, I don't see any process using excessively the CPU.
