When I switch the terminal to maximized or full-screen state back to
windowed then the window becomes smaller than it was.

windowed, then to full-screen and back to windowed.

The best reason I have is the following one: plee-the-bear 0.2.1 does
build on Debian but does not run due to an update of boost packages,
causing this bug report [1] which has been closed by introducing the
newest release. I even think that it does not run in Intrepid but I
can't test right now. 0

When selecting the kernel 2.6.24-20 in grub, the loading process stops
at "Starting up", i.e. the very beginning. The problem does not occurs
with older kernels, including 2.6.24-19.
