During install i chose US Keyboard layout as system default.
When i now use the gnome-keyboard-properties dialog to change my keyboard
layout to German it works fine until after reboot. Dialog still shows the
German layout as active, but the original US keyboard layout is us

I have the same problem on two computers updated from Edgy, worked fine till
the update, disconnects since.
The time it stays connected seems to vary, but it is never more than a few
minutes.
vpnc-connect doesn't report any errors, before disconnectin (used --debug 99).
The last messages are:
onboard segfaults on my up to date edgy, it was fine on the last
install, the only difference is in default keyboard layout,before it was
us now it is us international ( for german umlaut support

Tried the same on an Ubuntu 6.06 Server.
Commenting doesn't solve the problem. Init still won't start.
Error is:
"Starting MLDonkey: mlnet file[s] not owned by user 1007 or group 1007:
/var/run -- reown it first"
