Me too #78. After using "ss_en" option, the messages changed to
continuous "USB disconnected" and reconnected messages.
So, finally the only solution is to disable the module as #70
recommended and wait to a fixed driver.

Just verified that, disabling 11n the connection become stable.
I've added "options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1" to a file /etc/modprobe.d
/personal-opts.conf

Now, I uninstalled TV 8 and bug stopped.

LiveCD of Ubuntu 9.10 does not work when booting a Virtualbox machine.
The LiveCD boots but then the desktop is showed empty and the mouse and
keyboard are too slower, which leave it unusable.
The environment tested is:

still tries to send reports by email.
BTW, I think that virtual "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" must be defined, mainly if
